Taxi, racing and other medicals

Most medicals start at £60 unless they involve specialist tests. If you are not sure whether we do yours, ask — the answer is usually yes.

Taxi and private hire

We do medicals for taxi and private hire licences across Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Stoke, Staffordshire and neighbouring authorities.

Some councils state on their form that the medical must be done by your usual GP. We have completed these for many clients and have never had one rejected, but it is worth checking with your licensing office first — the risk is yours.

PCV, bus and coach

The same D4 form as an HGV medical, same price, same appointment.

Motor racing

Motorsport UK competition licence medicals, including for race and rally licences. Clubs can book us for a block of members — see group bookings.

Other medicals we are asked for

Forklift and plant operator medicals
Pre-employment and fitness-for-work medicals
Driving medicals for other licence categories or insurers
Fitness-to-drive letters and D4 completion for drivers over 65

If it needs a GP to examine you and sign a form, we can almost certainly do it. Prices for anything beyond a standard D4-type examination are quoted in advance.

What we don't do

Aviation (CAA) medicals, seafarer (ENG1) medicals, and anything requiring an occupational health physician rather than a GP.
